Patek Philippe, renowned for its exceptional watchmaking, has unveiled a captivating trio of limited-edition Calatrava timepieces. These releases are specifically curated to commemorate the forthcoming Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Milan in 2026. Each watch draws inspiration from the vibrant hues of the Italian national flag—green, white, and red—and builds upon the distinguished foundation of the Calatrava 6007 series. While maintaining a cohesive design language that exudes the Maison's profound watchmaking philosophy, each piece incorporates a unique movement and distinct features, infusing a touch of Italian flair and sophistication.

Patek Philippe's Milan 2026 Exhibition Highlights: A Detailed Look

In a gesture celebrating its heritage and future, Patek Philippe has presented three remarkable Calatrava models for the upcoming Milan 2026 exhibition. Each piece is a testament to the brand's commitment to horological excellence and aesthetic refinement.

First in the collection is the Reference 7047G-010 Minute Repeater, a limited edition of just five pieces. This timepiece, initially seen at Watches and Wonders 2026, reinterprets its 38mm minute repeater design with a striking red dial and strap, set in a white gold case. The vibrant red dial features a 'carbon' pattern with elegant white gold applied numerals. An inscription of 'Patek Philippe Milano 2026' adorns the sapphire crystal case back. Powered by the self-winding R 27 PS calibre, it boasts a minute repeater function with two classic gongs and small seconds, complemented by a 22K gold off-centre mini-rotor. The watch is completed with a red alligator leather strap, subtly accented with the Italian flag's colors at the stopping point, and secured by a white gold pin buckle. Its price remains unconfirmed.

Next is the Reference 7147G-010 Perpetual Calendar, an edition limited to 100 pieces. This watch offers a fresh perspective on a classic Patek Philippe complication, featuring a harmonious green dial and strap within an elegant 38mm white gold case, just under 10mm thick. The green lacquered dial also exhibits a 'carbon' pattern, paired with white gold applied numerals and luminous baton-style hands. Notably, all calendar indications are presented in Italian. The classic 240 Q self-winding movement, visible through the 'Patek Philippe Milano 2026' engraved case back, orchestrates the perpetual calendar functions, including day, date, month, leap year, 24-hour display, and moon phases at 6 o'clock. A green alligator leather strap, mirroring the Italian flag's colors, and a white gold pin buckle complete this exquisite piece. Pricing for this model is also yet to be announced.

Completing the trilogy is the Reference 7007G-010 Calatrava Date and Centre Second, a limited run of 200 pieces. This contemporary interpretation of a Patek Philippe icon is presented in a monochromatic white aesthetic. Inspired by the Reference 6007, its white gold case measures 38mm x 8.81mm. The white lacquered dial, featuring a 'carbon' pattern, is matched by a white alligator leather strap with subtle Italian flag color accents. The watch is driven by the modern, slender 3.3mm-thin 26 330 S C self-winding movement, equipped with a 21k gold central rotor. It provides central hours, minutes, and seconds display, a date indication, and a stop-seconds function. Like its counterparts, its sapphire case back bears the 'Patek Philippe Milano 2026' transfer. The minimum power reserve is 45 hours, and the price is to be confirmed.

These limited editions are a profound expression of Patek Philippe's artistry and its enduring connection to cultural milestones. The choice of the Calatrava, a symbol of purity and elegance, combined with the patriotic colors of Italy, creates a collection that is both historically significant and remarkably beautiful. For enthusiasts and collectors, these watches offer a unique opportunity to own a piece of horological history intertwined with Italian heritage, showcasing the brand's innovative spirit while honoring its timeless traditions.
