This new timepiece deviates from the brand's previously announced trilogy of dive watches, initially concluding with the Dytis. While maintaining its commitment to exploring new horizons, Ianos presents the Amfivios as a civilian adaptation of a specialized watch designed for Greece's Underwater Demolition Command. This release signifies a notable evolution in Ianos's design philosophy, blending its characteristic aesthetic with features born from military requirements.
The Amfivios builds upon the established platform of the Dytis, incorporating functional enhancements that distinguish it from its predecessors. Notably, it is the first dive watch from Ianos since the original Avyssos to feature a scale on its rotating bezel, a detail driven by military utility.
