This marks the first time Bulgari has collaborated with an independent watchmaker, allowing Halter to infuse his distinctive maximalist style into the Octo Finissimo's minimalist framework. The collaboration features a unique BVF 200 movement, built upon the BVL 138, which now incorporates an automatic microrotor winding system alongside modules for a dual-time/GMT function, a day/night indicator, and a prominent rotating date display. These functions are presented through porthole-style apertures, reminiscent of Halter's iconic Antiqua timepieces. The movement operates at 3Hz and offers a substantial 60-hour power reserve. This innovative timepiece is available in both sandblasted titanium and rose gold, measuring 40.5mm in diameter with a thickness of 9.7mm, or 7.7mm excluding the decorative portholes. The titanium version is priced at $80,000 and limited to 30 pieces, while the rose gold model, priced at $123,000, is limited to 15 pieces.

This watch, housed in a 40mm by 5.15mm sandblasted titanium case, draws inspiration from automotive camouflage. The concept of "dazzle camouflage" originated with British zoologist John Graham Kerr, who proposed using disruptive patterns not for concealment, but to alter the perceived outline, size, distance, and direction of objects, particularly ships. While its effectiveness was debated historically, the motif now finds a contemporary application in this unique watch. The "Dazzle" Octo features a laser-engraved geometric pattern on its case and bracelet, designed to create an abstract visual effect that blends with the watch's inherent geometric structure. Powered by the BVL 138 micro-rotor movement, it boasts a 60-hour power reserve and displays hours, minutes, and seconds. This artistic creation retails for $18,300.
